Types of Computer Keyboards

Choosing the correct computer keyboard can make a big difference in your computing experience. A good keyboard can help you type faster, reduce strain and improve your posture. While there are many different types of keyboards on the market, there are a few basic types. Each type offers its own benefits.

The standard computer keyboard has a number pad on the right-hand side. A separate numeric keypad can also be placed either side of the keyboard. The keys on the numeric keypad allow you to enter basic arithmetic operators.
