Founded by former Tesla engineer Richard Patterson, Trion SuperCars is a manufacturer of handcrafted, supercars. The company aims to produce cars targeting wealthy ultra-achievers. Its first model, the Nemesis RR, was unveiled at the Silicon Valley Auto Show.
The Trion Nemesis RR was built in a mid-engine design. It features aerodynamic bodywork, a 9.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine, and an eight-speed sequential transmission. Its 2,000 horsepower engine is paired with a 10-speaker JBL sound system. Its cockpit is made of carbon fiber. The interior has plenty of room for tall people, and the boot can carry golf clubs. The vehicle also features a button that allows drivers to engage a "Predator Mode," which stiffens the suspension and controls the exhaust pipes.
The Trion Nemesis will be available in various versions, including a hybrid version called the Nemesis ER. The gasoline-powered Nemesis RR has a 2,000-horsepower twin-turbo engine that can reach 270 mph. It has a 0-60 mph time of 2.8 seconds.
The Nemesis RR Black Ops Edition will feature an enhanced powertrain, additional features, and shares of ownership. The car is expected to be priced at about PS625,000. The company's mission is to produce the world's fastest street legal car. It will be powered by an 8-speed sequential transmission and will have different interior illumination.
The company is set to release its first vehicle in March of 2021. It is also working on an electric model, which will be sold as the Nemesis E.
