A number of other gents and fems have filed suit in hopes of getting their share of the action. Interestingly, the lawsuit is being filed by a coalition of businesses that argued that the city's zoning laws should be the benefactors of a burgeoning market, rather than the sacrificial goats that they are. A recent state court of appeals decision upheld the zoning laws in question, thereby making the decision moot, but not before the plaintiffs fought to the death.

Although the rules governing the construction of the aforementioned booze bottle were not strictly enforced, it is likely that the rules were slapped on the door of any adult entertainment place that isn't in a tightly contested neighborhood. As such, the city has the upper hand. The only downside is that if you are planning a trip to Queens, you might be a little bit on the fence about the gizmos and gadgets you might find in the borough's other boroughs.
