Rice Advanced Engineering Systems and Research's Tachyon Speed Hypercar

Founded in 2014 by Eric Rice, Rice Advanced Engineering Systems and Research (RAESR) is a California-based startup focused on hand-built electric hypercars and high-performance electric powertrains. They're currently working on their first production automobile. Their Tachyon Speed is an all-electric hypercar that produces a combined output of 1,250 horsepower and 3,650 pound-feet of torque. Designed to offer ultimate road performance, the Tachyon Speed features an all-wheel-drive system and six direct-drive electric motors. In its high-downforce mode, the car generates over 400 pounds of downforce. The rear wing is adjustable, and the bodywork is made of carbon fiber.

The company is currently taking reservations for potential buyers. The Tachyon Speed is one of the lightest electric cars in Forza Horizon 4. It also features active aerodynamic flaps and a jet fighter-style canopy.
