The Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) recently released guidance regarding how to buy weed in New York. The OCM has been releasing new guidance on how to get a delivery service up and running, as well as announcing the first 36 adult-use retail dispensary licenses. In a recent interview, Jeffrey Hoffman, an attorney representing two of the 36 license recipients, praised the aforementioned gizmo, but didn't say exactly how a delivery service would work. He noted that the OCM is aiming to fend off the entrenched gray market of cannabis sellers by requiring operators to prove they're worthy of being licensed. The Office of Cannabis Management will announce more details on its upcoming plans next week.
