Located in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. is a luxury automobile manufacturer that produces V12 powered supercars. The company also makes motorcycles and V12 engines for offshore powerboat racing. The company is owned by Volkswagen Group through its subsidiary Audi.

The company's roots date back to the 1960s. In 1963, Ferruccio Lamborghini founded Automobili Lamborghini SpA. Initially, the company focused on making powerful engines. The company produced its first car, the 350 GT, in 1964. The car featured a 3.5-liter Bizzarini overhead cam V12 engine. The car had a top speed of 158 miles per hour and four-wheel independent suspension.

In 1972, Ferruccio sold the company to Georges-Henri Rossetti, a wealthy Swiss industrialist. Later, he sold the remaining interest to Rene Leimer, a Swiss businessman.

In the late 1970s, sales dropped due to the 1973 oil crisis. A new ownership structure was formed in 1980, when Lamborghini was bought by Jean-Claude and Bernard Mimran. These brothers invested heavily in expanding the company's model line.

The company's flagship model is the Huracan. The supercar features a 4.0-liter V8 or a 5.2-liter V10 engine, with a 610-hp output. The vehicle also comes with four-wheel drive and a sport-tuned suspension.

Lamborghini has three main lines of supercars. The Huracan, the Aventador, and the Urus. Each of these models has special exterior and interior features. They also feature specially designed headlights, lighting, and other safety technologies. Lastly, there is the Limited Series Lamborghini, which is a collection of the most exclusive and state-of-the-art supercars.
