How to Use a Coffee Maker

A coffee maker also usually has a heating element, which warms the water when it first comes into the machine. The element is located on the left side of the base of the coffee maker. The heat is kept on for a few hours after the coffee is made.

A one-way valve is typically in the aluminum heating pipe. If the valve is blocked, the boiling water will not flow back. You can test the valve by blowing on the tube. If it is clogged, you can clean the blockage with a toothpick. You can also rinse the water tank with water.
